Center Manager, Priority Banking

Position Summary

The Private Banking Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the private banking center, driving sales growth, managing relationship manager, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of client needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the Center team to support growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve growth targets and increase client acquisition
  • Implement strategies to promote priority financial products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee daily operations, including account management and client servicing.
  • Set and track individual and team performance goals.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and economic developments, and use insights to adjust strategies and enhance service offerings.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to create a positive and supportive environment.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Postgraduate preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in private banking or wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of retail/consumer banking products, market trends, and competition.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex client situations with confidentiality and compliance.
  • Proven planning, organizing, and time-management skills under pressure.
  • Pleasant personality with a customer-focused approach.
