Position Summary
The key responsibility of this role is to contribute to loan growth by establishing a new borrowing customer base and managing the existing customer portfolio to maintain a strong business relationship.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and verify all clients’ required documents including conducting financial analysis.
- Conduct a site visit to clients’ business premises and proof collateral during the loan assessment process to obtain in-depth information concerning the soundness of their business.
- Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Reports for commercial applications including detailed loan appraisal write-ups.
- Review the loan appraisal write-up from the branch referral.
- Process the registration of the title deeds at the local authority and land office to acquire the legal evidence of clients’ rights to ownership of the property if required.
- Build and maintain new and existing clients to ensure a sustainable and secure loan portfolio.
- Present and provide highly professional sound financial advice to target commercial/corporate clients to address their demands and match with the Bank’s products.
- Follow up, conduct site visits, and work with related departments.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience preferred in the commercial business area.
- English language proficiency (Chinese language is a plus)
- Literate in Microsoft Office.
- Proven sales and service record in FIs or related industries
- Confidence, proactive, and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge and experience in SME, commercial, and other trade financial services.
