Chief Operating Officer

Strategy and tactical execution is Geoff’s passion; developing, implementing and embedding strategies to grow better organizations and people.

Geoff started his 30 year commercial career in the Agriculture sector. He was a farm adviser, farm financial advisor, then initiated and led the Australian Sugar Industry’s farm business skills training program.

Banking called. Geoff worked for two of Australia’s largest banks. The first as an Agri Sales Specialist that encompassed Credit Co-signoff on Agri deals between AUD$1 - $100 million. The second Bank; Geoff was the national manager of a trade finance product line that spearheaded regional expansion for the Bank.   Geoff’s role involved developing new broker channels, finance products, credit and risk policies, operation workflows, legal and marketing programs.

Geoff moved from front line to Strategy Department, in order to help the bank address key business process challenges. Successes of this role included leading the restructure of loan fulfillment processes then helping on board the new Bank Loan origination and fulfillment software. Geoff then managed the Department (teams included Small Business, Agribusiness and Call Centre) central to embedding the new software and process. He succeeded in improving staff engagement, profitability, and credit review compliance. It was exciting times. 

Moving to Singapore, Geoff worked for multi-national companies leading strategy and investment projects.  He then worked many years for an Agri-services company in Cambodia as Director of Corporate Development. Recently, Geoff has divided his time between a global learning and development enterprise servicing global banks; and an Investment Fund leading and project managing agribusiness investment in Cambodia.

Geoff has a Bachelor in Agricultural Science and MBA, from the University of Queensland Australia; and CPA Certified. He is married with 2 daughters, which means transporting them between sporting to social events most weekends. He enjoys playing touch rugby and futsal with limited talent.
